The furry archive that puts Artists first in the menu, with pools, sets, a wiki and a posted 2257 statement.

Artist credit built into the structure rather than added on
Pools and sets hold multi-page works in order
A wiki, forum, comments and notes keep the tagging accurate
Downloads, translations and a posted 2257 statement

Artists are the first item in the menu, ahead of Posts, and that ordering is the entire philosophy. e621 credits the people who made the work, runs Pools and Sets for multi-page stories, and publishes a running list of who is trending — searyn, coughytoffee, ishitaka uwu, jackerman, jetraraven.

Around that sit the parts an image board needs to stay accurate: a wiki, a forum, Blips for short posts, comments, notes and a help section. Downloads work, the tag field supports the full boolean syntax, a language switcher is fitted, and a 2257 statement is posted — rare on a board of this kind.

The terms of use greet you before the content does, and an account is required for the full tag allowance. As the furry community's central archive it does the hard part properly: it makes attribution structural instead of optional.
