Adult DVD Talk Review

Criticism is the thing here, and it is attributed. 46,232 reviews written by 1,038 reviewers, each with a name and a statistics page, so you can read one critic's history before deciding how much weight to give their verdict. That single feature separates this from every aggregate star rating elsewhere in this directory.

Around it sits a community running since 1999, now 65,847 members, with separate member classes for performers and directors who take part under their own names. The catalogue behind the talk is substantial too: 327,281 films and 123,516 trailers, indexed by studio, by performer and by where a title can actually be bought or streamed.

The site is dense, the design belongs to an earlier internet, and a good deal of the community is only reachable after registering. Those are real costs. What is on offer in exchange is the only place in this section where someone has watched the film, written several hundred words about it, and put their name on the result.
