Who is the Fox?
Short version: one person, one sharp nose, a very long bookmark list, and no studio paying for the ranking. Long version below.
Who runs MyPornFox
MyPornFox is an independent, one-editor directory. The Fox is a pen name — the person behind it has run adult websites in Europe for well over a decade, which is how the notebook this site grew out of came to exist: years of checking which tubes actually have the 4K, which cam sites let you watch without a wallet, which studios are worth a card number and which “free” sites are a redirect chain with a logo. I don’t work for any studio, network or affiliate company, and no site on this map has an owner in common with it.
I use a pen name for the same reason most people in this industry do. If you need to reach a human, the contact page reaches me directly, and I answer.
What “tested” means here — honestly
Every site on the board was opened and checked by me in a clean browser before it was listed: what it actually shows, how the player behaves, how much advertising sits between you and the content, whether “free” means free, what a membership costs and how you cancel it, and whether the site does anything to your browser it shouldn’t (forced downloads, fake buttons, redirect chains). That check is the entry ticket; failing it keeps a site off the map no matter how big it is.
It does not mean I hold a paid membership on every paysite. I pay for the ones that matter for a category (the reference sites, the ones I recommend over their rivals) and I say so in the review when I do. For the rest, the review is built from the site’s own tour, pricing and terms, its public catalogue, the industry’s records of who makes it and — where I can — a trial. If a review says “I have not seen the members’ area”, it is because I haven’t. I would rather tell you that than pretend.
Facts in reviews — counts, prices, formats — are correct at the time of writing, which is dated on every review page. Prices change; check the join page before you pay. If you find something out of date, tell me and I fix it.
How a site gets its place and its number
The position in a category is my editorial order: which site I would send a stranger to first, second, third. The rating next to it is a separate verdict on the site itself:
- 5.0 — the reference in its category; I have nothing to hold against it.
- 4.5 – 4.0 — excellent to very good; the caveats are in the review.
- 3.5 – 3.0 — worth listing, with real reservations: thin content, heavy ads, a business model I don’t love, or a leak site listed because the category exists.
- 2.5 and below — listed for completeness and rated as a warning.
A #1 with a 4.0 and a #3 with a 4.5 can sit in the same category: the order says where I’d start, the number says how good the site is on its own.
Ranks and ratings are never for sale. Sponsored placements, if I ever run them, are labelled as such and sit outside the editorial order. Partner links (see below) do not change a rank, a rating or a word of a review.
Money, and where it comes from
The site costs money to run and I would like it to pay for itself. Two ways it may: a site can link back to MyPornFox from its partners page — that buys no rank, no rating and no change to the review. And some reviews carry a partner link: a “Join” button that goes to the site’s own affiliate programme, which may pay a commission if you subscribe. Those buttons are marked “Partner link — the Fox may earn a commission”. I do not use affiliate networks; only a studio’s own programme, and only where the review would have recommended the site anyway. If a partner site turns bad, the review says so and the button goes.
What I will not list
Anything illegal, anything involving minors or non-consenting people, sites that install software or fake their buttons, and sites that lie about being free. I also mark the sites that live on other people’s work — leak sites, rip archives, forums that trade paid content — for what they are, and rate them accordingly; they are on the map because the category exists and you will find them anyway, and I would rather you read the warning first.
How the map stays alive
A link checker visits every listed site daily; a site that is dead three days running is unpublished automatically. Reviews carry the date they were last rewritten and get refreshed as the sites change — the biggest names first. New sites arrive through my own scouting and through submissions, which I read one by one. Every review is built from facts collected on the site itself and checked against them before it goes live; if one is wrong, the mistake is mine to fix.
Corrections and takedowns
Wrong fact, dead link, a screenshot you want replaced, a site that would rather not be listed: write to me. Legal notices go through the DMCA page; the 2257 statement is where it always is. MyPornFox hosts no videos or images from the listed sites — screenshots are shown for identification and commentary.
Stay safe out there. Keep your browser updated, run an ad-blocker, never install a “player” a porn site asks for, and remember that the best site in the world is still just a website. — The Fox
