Porn forums and sharing communities: judged by their moderators

A forum lives or dies by the people running it. The files come and go; what stays is whether anyone moderates the boards, publishes rules, answers a deletion request or tells members which links are safe to click. That is what I look at on the 11 boards and trackers here, and it is why the top score among them is a modest 3.5. Good governance in this corner is real but patchy.

What good moderation looks like

• A way out: PlanetSuzy runs a whole sub-forum for account deletion requests and publishes the list of file and image hosts members are allowed to use.
• Order in the archive: PornBB keeps mega threads on boards of their own so collections do not swamp single posts, is open about its three sister forums and loads no ad network at all on its index. Its rules thread was last updated in 2022.
• Protection from clones: XXXClub publishes an Official Domains page so you can tell the real site from a phishing copy, and it links a DMCA page, which its peers leave out.

Trackers that teach

PornoLab is the largest Russian-language tracker, run on a ratio system with a newcomer's guide, a download guide and instructions for making your own torrent. It is Russian only, publishes no legal pages and carries leaked material. Sukebei Nyaa covers East Asian media with a Trusted Only filter that separates vetted uploaders from everyone else, and a category tree that splits anime, doujinshi, games, manga and live action. Sukebei makes no effort to explain how a tracker works; it assumes you already know.

Where it goes wrong

The low end of this list is dominated by one problem: material shared without the people in it having any say. xBunker has published guidelines and a Verified Models section, yet leaked content runs through the board with no takedown route at all. SocialMediaGirls prints strict posting rules directly beneath adverts for undressing anyone with AI, and invites requests that name individual people. That is why both sit low on this list, and I would not send you there first.

One habit worth keeping

Bookmark the official address of any board you use and arrive through that bookmark. Popular forums and trackers attract cloned front ends that look identical and exist to steal logins or push downloads, which is exactly why a published list of official domains, like XXXClub's, is worth more than it looks.
